TOT stands for Tremulous Open Tournament. The TOT is a tournament played on Tremulous, a game based off Quake III. It pits two teams against each other. Aliens and humans are in a fight for survival by wiping out the other team and their base. The Tremulous Open Tournament is a monthly tournament for the tremulous community. It runs during the weekends and lasts two weekends out of the month.

History

The Tremulous Open Tournament was created by .:RK:. Germ to promote the Random Keywhacking forum, server, and clan. Starting in January 2009, many people doubted that the tournament would go past the "idea" phase. Germ herself doubted it would be a popular idea. However, pushing forward with the help of fellow admin Wire, they put together a website for the monthly tournaments to help with the organization.
